Volunteering

Volunteering your time and energy to Chicago Public Media is every bit as valuable as donating your money. We are always looking for volunteers.

Pledge Drive Volunteers save us thousands of dollars by taking calls from fellow public radio fans and completing in-house mailings. We also make calls out to thank donors for their donations. 

Events Volunteers assist with live tapings of Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me!, help staff our monthly Off-Air Event Series, and assist with WBEZ and Vocalo tables at various music, film and art festivals. 

Special Project Volunteers have unique, high level skills in fields outside of on-air production that are called on periodically to assist with special projects that help further the reach and mission on our institution.
